Secure it. Before it’s tested.
Security engineering for the places you work and live.
One consultancy for businesses and homes: we assess your exposure, close the gaps, and stay on call. Vendor-objective recommendations, plain-language reporting, and fixes that hold up long after the engagement ends.
Frameworks we work in
Five disciplines. One partner.
Who we work with
Security assessments & penetration testing
We test your environment the way an attacker would, inside an agreed scope, and explain what we found in plain language.
- External attack-surface and internal network testing
- WiFi, account, and access review
- Findings ranked by risk, with evidence
- A prioritized remediation plan
- Retesting of fixed findings
Fractional CISO & compliance
Executive security leadership on retainer, for firms that need the decisions a CISO makes without the full-time hire.
- Security strategy and roadmap
- Policies your team will actually follow
- Client and insurer security questionnaires
- Audit readiness for frameworks such as SOC 2, HIPAA, and PCI DSS
- Reporting to leadership
- Incident response plans and tabletop exercises
New office & building systems security
For firms opening a Miami office, and for the teams building the spaces they move into: the network, the building systems, and the conference rooms set up securely before anyone arrives.
- Network design for new offices and branch build-outs, finished before your IT team inherits it
- Cameras, access control, AV, lighting and climate controls walled off from the business network
- Conference rooms and video calls that stay private
- Secure guest WiFi for visitors, tenants, and vendors
- Security reviews of the contractors and integrators on the job
- Documentation your IT team can take over on day one
Executive residence security
For principals, executives, and their families, whose home is now part of the firm’s footprint. Firm and client data moves between the office and the residence every day; we secure it at both ends and on the way between.
- Firm and client data protected between office and residence: an encrypted connection back to the office, and work files kept off shared family devices
- Home network designed and segmented like a branch office
- Cameras, doorbells, and smart devices on their own network
- Default passwords replaced, firmware brought current
- Account and two-step login hardening for the household
- Relocation setup: new home, new city, same security posture
- New builds and renovations through our residential systems integrator partners nationwide: cameras, network, and automation designed and secured together from day one
Built for Miami’s growth companies.
South Florida startups raised $4.13 billion across 376 deals in 2025, led by fintech and healthtech. Growth brings security questions before a company is ready for them: from investors, enterprise buyers, insurers, regulators, and the people trying to redirect your wires. This assessment is scoped to how Miami companies actually get attacked and audited.
Wire-fraud and payment-redirect review
Miami runs on wires: real estate closings, import and export, family offices, payroll. We test your email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), mailbox-rule and login protections, and the callback steps that stop a fake “new bank details” email from moving money.
Breach-notification readiness
Florida requires reasonable measures to protect personal data, notice to affected people within 30 days of determining a breach, and notice to the Department of Legal Affairs when 500 or more Floridians are affected. We check that you can detect, decide, and notify on that clock.
FTC Safeguards Rule testing
Mortgage brokers, lenders, finance companies, and other non-bank financial firms owe the FTC annual penetration tests and vulnerability scans every six months, or continuous monitoring, plus a report within 30 days of a breach affecting 500 or more consumers. We run the testing and document it.
Account-takeover exposure
We review who can move funds, how wallet keys and exchange accounts are protected, and the SIM-swap and phone-number recovery paths attackers use to take over founders’ and finance leads’ accounts.
Investor, enterprise, and financial-client readiness
Due diligence, enterprise deals, and financial clients arrive with vendor security questionnaires; SEC rules require broker-dealers and investment advisers to oversee the firms they hire. We close the gaps they ask about, organize the evidence, and show where you stand against SOC 2 before your first audit.
Hurricane-season recovery test
We confirm backups restore from off-site, remote access works when the office doesn’t, and more than one person can bring your systems back after a storm.
You get findings ranked by risk with evidence, a prioritized remediation plan, and a retest of what you fixed.

Assess. Harden. Re-check.
Business Security Assessment
Your security posture measured against NIST CSF and CIS Controls, with findings prioritized by risk.
Fractional CISO
Executive security leadership on retainer: strategy, vendor decisions and compliance direction.
Executive Residence Audit
A principal’s home network, devices, cameras, and accounts: reviewed, hardened, and explained in plain language.
Who checked the installer’s work?
Integrators wire the cameras, networks, and automation that run your offices and homes, then hand over the keys. The open question is who checked the work. We audit it with a security posture assessment and penetration test of the installed systems, so you see your real exposure before an attacker does.
No network segmentation
Cameras, lighting, and building controls on the same network as the computers your business runs on.
Default credentials
Admin passwords still set to what shipped in the box, or reused by the installer on every job. source
Exposed ports
Remote-access doors left open to the internet for the vendor’s convenience. source
Verified findings
Evidence of every exposure, prioritized by risk, with a remediation plan you can hand to any qualified firm.
A team led by the engineer who answers.
Castle Haven Solutions is a founder-led team. Frank Castellano built his career in security engineering, supporting Bloomberg’s financial software, the National Security Agency (NSA), and Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he ran vulnerability management across a fleet of more than a million devices, led 24/7 incident response, and supported audits under FedRAMP, NIST, ISO, and Cyber Essentials Plus.
We bring those disciplines to businesses and households, scaled down from the global fleet: find what is exposed, fix it in priority order, and check back that the fixes held. No scare tactics, no products you do not require.
Frank also founded a Miami technology integration firm, so we know how connected offices and homes are actually built before we secure them.
Asked, answered.
Do you work with startups and growth-stage companies?
Yes. Our Miami Growth Security Assessment covers wire-fraud and payment-redirect controls, Florida breach-notification readiness, FTC Safeguards Rule testing for fintech and lenders, crypto and account-takeover exposure, investor and enterprise security questionnaires, and a hurricane-season recovery test.
What does a security assessment include?
A review of your network, devices, accounts and exposure, then a findings report prioritized by risk with a fix plan in plain language.
Can you audit the work our integrator did?
Yes. A vendor assurance audit tests what was installed: network segmentation, default credentials, and exposed ports. You get verified findings and a remediation plan you can hand to any qualified firm.
What is a fractional CISO?
Executive-level security leadership without the full-time hire: strategy, vendor decisions, compliance direction and reporting, on a part-time retainer.
Can you set up a new office before our IT team arrives?
Yes. New branches are usually built out by a contractor before the firm’s own IT team is on site. We design the network, separate building systems from the business network, secure the conference rooms, and hand your IT team the documentation on day one.
Do you work on-site or remote?
Both. On-site across Miami, Broward and Palm Beach, and remote engagements anywhere.
Do you work with residential clients?
Yes, alongside our business work. Residence engagements are usually for executives and principals: the home network designed like a branch office, cameras and smart devices on their own network, and the household’s accounts hardened, and the firm’s and its clients’ data protected as it moves between the office and the residence. For new homes and renovations, we partner with residential systems integrators nationwide, so the cameras, network, and automation are secured as they go in rather than audited after.
Security, in plain language.
